This is the first of many blog post we’ll share with you.

For some time now, we wanted a platform to share our thoughts and knowledge about the gaming industry. A blog felt like the perfect place for it.

Since we’re 13 people working here at Level Eight, the posts will differ. Some of us might go more in-depth about a subject, teach you something new with help of tutorials and others will repeatedly highlight the importance of coffee when developing games.

Let us know if you’re interested reading about something specific. For example, do you wish to know what brand of coffee we’re using, how we started working with mobile games or what it means to be an indie developer? Do you thirst for knowledge regarding how we came up with the idea for Robbery Bob or why we are developing an online shooter? Who knows, maybe you’re mainly interested in knowing why Markus sometimes shoots ping-pong balls at the rest of us, what pranks we’re planning for our office neighbors and how it is to work at Level Eight. (Spoiler alert; Working here and the ping-pong balls both include puns!)
